Finally. Winter.
It’s like we’ve been waiting patiently for the arrival of a friend we haven’t seen in a long time. The kind of friend you can’t wait to see because it has been so long (like way too long) but who, without fail, manages to overstay her welcome after about a week of overbearing conversations and demanding plans.
True to form, we were collecting sweaters, coats, beanies and other warm weather gear in preparation for the arrival of our long lost frigid friend. We were begging her to hurry up and give us an excuse to break out the parkas. Yet, now that we’ve been hanging out with our cold weather friend for about a week or two and have managed to exhaust the full repertoire of our winter collection, the novelty has worn off and we’ve begun to remember why we wanted good ‘ol winter to hit the road last year…
Right. Because she’s frigid.

ROY HARPER RETURNS; NYSSA MAKES HER MOVE — The team faces off against a formidable villain nicknamed The Calculator (guest star Tom Amandes). Meanwhile, Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) makes her move and Roy Harper (guest star Colton Haynes) returns to Star City. Kevin Fair directed the episode written by Speed Weed & Beth Schwartz (#412).
DIGGLE VS. SHADOWSPIRE — Diggle (David Ramsey) must learn to trust his brother Andy (guest star Eugene Byrd) when an enemy of their wartime past, an agent of the criminal organization Shadowspire, pays a visit to Star City. However, Diggle learns more than he bargained for about their shared time at war. Meanwhile, Oliver (Stephen Amell) has to learn a whole new way of life. Charlotte Brandstrom directed the episode written by Brian Ford Sullivan & Emilio Ortega Aldrich (#411).
IGN: I’ll get directly to the whole Killer Frost question in a second but in general, do you sometimes have the “Oh, I want to go out there and have the super suit on too” envy?
Danielle Panabaker: Totally! 80% of the time. [Laughs] I’m like desperate to get out there. My roommate up here in Vancouver is Katie Cassidy who plays the Black Canary, obviously. I’m jealous. It’s awesome. She gets to do fight training. I would love to be out there. It’s a little cold outside, so that part appeals to me a little less [Laughs] but the idea of getting to be Killer Frost and to get to be out there and have powers, it’s so fun.
Katrina Law: I also love her relationship with her father, Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable), and I love her relationship with Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy).
HITFIX: Speaking of Katie Cassidy, Nyssa and Laurel’s scene over the milkshake was so tender and honest, it was one of my favorite moment of season three.
KL: So many people really like that scene. I love working with Katie Cassidy, she’s a beautiful woman inside and out. She’s so focused and professional when she walks on set, and working with her is just a joy. We just had fun with that scene, and you get to see two women bonding. It may have even been the first time Nyssa got to smile.

THE AFTERMATH — Oliver (Stephen Amell) must deal with the devastating consequences of Darhk’s (guest star Neal McDonough) last attack. Seeking revenge, Oliver goes on a brutal manhunt looking for Dahrk. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Oscar Balderrama & Sarah Tarkoff (#410).
It is the season to be jolly and all that, So with that in mind I have replaced Our previous DVD caps of Katie as Kelli Presley in Glen Morgan’s Black Christmas from 2006 with over 800 new 1080p Bluy-Ray screen captures. The Bonus Features were not in 1080p on the disk but there were a little better quality then what we had before so I have replaced them as well. So enjoy these!

Delicious and nutritious! Arrow star Katie Cassidy shares one of her go-to simple dinner recipes with Us Weekly: a lighter twist on the Italian classic chicken Parmesan.
“It’s a quick and tasty meal that’s a healthy take on one of my favorites,” says the actress on the CW superhero show (Wednesdays, 8 p.m.), who is also the creator of the lifestyle blog Tomboy KC.
Healthy Chicken Parmesan
Ingredients:
1 egg white
2 tbsp olive oil
2 large pieces boneless skinless organic chicken
1/2 cup almond meal
1 cup Parmesan cheese
Pepper
1 package brown-rice fettuccine pasta
2 cups tomato sauce
1 cup mozzarella cheeseDirections:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a small bowl, whisk the egg white and olive oil. Brush the mixture over the chicken breasts.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the almond meal, ½ cup of the Parmesan cheese and pepper to taste. Roll the chicken into the dry mixture until it’s completely coated.3. In a pan over medium heat, gently fry the coated chicken breasts until they’re golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes per side.
4. Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 2 minutes. Strain while the pasta is still slightly hard.
5. Mix the pasta with the tomato sauce and separate into two parts. Place the first part in a casserole dish and top with ½ cup of the mozzarella cheese. Layer the remaining pasta on top. Place the chicken on top and layer on the remaining ½ cup Parmesan and ½ cup mozzarella.
6. Bake until the cheese starts to slightly brown, 10 to 12 minutes.
