High definition screencaptures from Katie’s guest appearance on The Flash were added to the gallery. As a fan of both The Flash and Arrow, it made me very happy to see Laurel on The Flash. She got to interact with Cisco, who she asked to make her a canary cry collar. And by the looks of next week’s promo, it looks like Laurel will get to debut her Canary Cry!

First I would like to say sorry for not being about a lot the last month, and a big thank you to are great co-web on KCO Neide for all the hard work. Arrow was back last night after one week away and there was not much Katie at all this time. I have updated our photo gallery with over 30 HD screen captures from last nights all new episode of Arrow 3×19 – Broken Arrow.
On a sad note Arrow is now saying goodbye to one of its own Colton Haynes who has now left the show (He will be back for the last episode) So my self and all here on KCO would like to wish him the best and he will be missed.

What Katie Wore: Making It Work

A few weeks ago, Harpers Bazaar tapped us to put together three looks for a small feature on their website. As luck would have it, Katie was in Los Angeles with an overnight suitcase containing more toiletries than apparel and they needed the images post haste. Not one to turn down an opportunity, we gave the thumbs up and started trying to figure out a way to, in the words of Tim Gunn, “make it work.”
So we booked our fav LA photographer and sent Katie to a vintage store on a mission straight out of Project Runway – one store, three looks, three hours. Dying laughing the entire time, she left with a skirt, a blazer (when all else fails, right?) and a few vintage t-shirts (because obviously). We jumped into this mission headfirst in somewhat of a panic and left with just about everything we already owned only cooler.
We’d like to think that, under pressure, it all came together quite nicely.

I admire many people. The qualities I admire in people are honesty, integrity, bravery, originality, ambition, self-awareness and those who are eager to learn more.If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
I’m really stubborn. I believe that it has gotten me to where I am today professionally, but sometimes I wish I wasn’t so hard-headed. It can be a good quality when it comes to work, but not necessarily in my personal life.

Katie Cassidy Teases Laurel And Oliver’s ‘Interesting’ Relationship, A ‘Less Whiny’ Black Canary

Recently, we did some catching up with “Arrow” star Katie Cassidy. On the show, Cassidy plays the role of Laurel Lance — assistant district attorney by day, vigilante Black Canary by night.
During the interview, Cassidy spoke on the development of her character and in doing so, gave us a few spoilers about what’s to come for the next few episodes of season 3.
1. From Oliver cheating on Laurel with her sister, to joining him in Team Arrow, the two of them have gone through a lot. How would you describe their current relationship? Is there a chance they can rekindle their past romance?
Their current relationship is interesting. Oliver sees Laurel in an entirely different light. He sees that she has what it takes to be a “fighter” or “hero,” but she hasn’t been properly trained. Laurel is also not afraid to stand up to Oliver and stand up for what she believes in. I don’t think that Laurels current mental state is anywhere near a place of romance. That’s the last thing on her mind.

Recently, we had the privilege of catching up with Katie Cassidy, who plays Laurel Lance — aka the Black Canary — in The CW’s popular TV Series “Arrow.” In our exclusive interview, Cassidy discusses her acting roots, past roles and her plans for the future.
1. When did you start acting?
When I was in my mother’s womb. Ha! Seriously though, I’ve always had a passion for the art. I began studying acting at the age of 8. I was in theater all through grade school and finally started working as a professional at the age of 18.
2. You come from a family of actors. How much did that influence your decision to become one?
My grandfather, Jack Cassidy, was a phenomenal actor. Followed by my uncles Shaun, Patrick & Ryan, as well as my biological father, David. I’m a third generation actor, so I suppose having a family of actors was destined to influence me in some way. I don’t feel like I consciously made the choice. I guess you can say it’s in the gene pool.
3. How did previous roles on The CW prepare you to play a character like Laurel?
I think the diversity of all characters I’ve portrayed served as ample preparation for such an emotionally complex character. That, and studying acting for almost my entire life has been extremely beneficial. It’s something that I will never stop. I believe that you can never learn too much.

Katie Cassidy’s Style Tips For Festival Season & Beyond

Katie Cassidy’s style can be summed up in one word: tomboy.
While the word tomboy and style are seldom used in the same sentence, Cassidy is putting a fresh spin on the term. She launched a style blog called Tomboy KC with her best friend Lynsey Eaton, and together they are proving sneakers can just as fashion-forward as stilletos, and to never underestimate the power of a blazer.
“Today’s modern woman can get away with wearing a lot more,” Cassidy said. “Being sexy doesn’t necessarily mean wearing less clothing. I think it comes from a confidence you have within.”
So when it comes to the “Arrow” star’s personal style, don’t expect her to be following trends.
“I’m not necessarily following what’s trending or what’s not. I think personal style is what is important to me,” Cassidy said. “I love blazers, I love sneakers. I love looking like it was effortless.”
