Got to start by saying called it, Last night was the winter finale for Arrow and we have a great little surprise right at the end with Laurel being in the arrow cave, Now the big question is… is this Earth 1 Laurel that some how came back thanks to flashpoint or is this Earth 2 Laurel coming back to do some no good, We will not find out till Arrow is back in the new year with at this time we known Katie will be in episode 10 and 11. A part two trailer should be out some time in January so I hope to see more of Laurel then. HD screencaps from last night’s all new episode of Arrow “5×08 – Invasion!” have been added to the gallery! Well last night was the 100th episode of Arrow and as we all known Katie was back for it and I have to say I did love the episode and how Katie was used in it for a change, it was nice to see her being used in the main part of the story and just great to see her again the other thing I do wish would have happened was when Oliver turned around and looking back at Laurel she would have been dressed up as Black Canary, that would have just made it all. Katie Cassidy coming back to play an integral role in our episode while filming a movie in Boston is a testament to her work ethic and her integrity both personally and professionally. She’s magnificent tonight and it was so much fun to run it back with her

What it Feels Like to Hit Episode 100

Katie Cassidy (“Laurel Lance/Black Canary”): It’s been a really long journey but a really wonderful one. It’s been a growing process and a learning process. We’ve been lucky and I appreciate every second of it. Especially for me and my character, I think the writers wrote really well for me and gave me a lot to do and a lot to play with. I’ve been constantly challenged.

Favorite Arrow Memories

Katie Cassidy: The scene in Season 2 when Laurel puts the Black Canary jacket on for the first time, obviously. And I feel like the overall arc for me and my character has been so well written and again, they gave me somewhere to go and something I could really sink my teeth into. I just think, overall I’m really happy about it. There’s a moment in Season 3 where my character, she’s gone through so much, and finally her and Felicity have a moment together and Emily [Bett Rickards] is one of my best friends and I just remember us together on screen and connecting as actors. It was just a nice, beautiful moment. And I feel like it lifted me up.

Robert (guest star Jamey Sheridan) and Moira Queen (guest star Susanna Thompson) are alive and well. Laurel (guest star Katie Cassidy) is his loving fiancée and their wedding is imminent. Everything seems perfect, but Oliver starts to notice small imperfections that make him question this new reality. Katie had taken a couple of months’s of from covention’s as she has been filming a lot but is now back at it, This time she was at Rhode Island Comic-Con. Katie did two days the Friday and Saturday and both day’s she did fan autographs and photoshoots and one day one a panel, There is not a lot of news from it but some things did come out.

– “Just found out that Katie Cassidy will be back on Arrow and Flash as Black Siren”

– “I was at Katie’s panel for RICC and was so excited when Katie said she’s been flying between Boston and Vancouver for filming. But she mentioned she’s had no sleep, she’s been sleeping on the plane because she’s filming so much. Wouldn’t say what she was filming exactly or who she was playing but no one can say she doesn’t but in a 1000% to everything she does.”

– “What she said about Black Siren was that she wanted to know who the Laurel behind Black Siren was, if it even was Laurel (I think she meant it could be she was going by Dinah)”

Katie To Be In Legends of Tomorrow Season Two

Marc did a new interview with IMDB and was asked about Katie being on the show’s and he had this to say about her on Legends of Tomorrow

IMDB: This year all the DC shows have access to this group of floating utility players: John Barrowman, Katie Cassidy, and Wentworth Miller. How will you utilize their characters?
Marc Guggenheim: On “Legends of Tomorrow” Wentworth and John will be members of the Legion of Doom. Katie is a far more interesting question because we actually have a story for Katie on “Legends of Tomorrow” that I am super excited about. It could be the thing I’m most excited about. But it’s early, and we’re not ready to spoil what that’s going to be. I think it could be really, really awesome.
