Mayhen Entertainment did a interview with Katie at her Genlux Magazine cover party, The sound is very low and it’s hard to make out what there saying. But Katie did say “There’s a lot coming up for Laurel on season three” and she will be a part of team arrow going into the season.

We are constantly chatting about how much we prefer our fall/winter closets over our options when it comes to spring/summer. Maybe it is our tendency to wear darker colors or our primal fear of florals, but as women who would rather give themselves heat stroke than not layer, let’s just say the warmer months have a tendency to be a bit difficult for our practicalities. After all, we spent sale season buying leather jackets and boots just in time for the thermometer to read 90 degrees. You dig?
That being said, every now and then we find pieces that remind us why summer (and the corresponding afternoons spent basking in the sun and drinking rose) has it’s perks. This Jenni Kayne skirt (majorly on sale here), for example. We may have trouble when it comes to bright colors and polka dots, but give us a striped pencil skirt and loose fitting t-shirts any day. The rest is what the kids call summer history.
As an aside, we both have this Rodarte shirt in multiple colors because yes, it is just that cool comfortable. J’aime Rodarte, if you know what we’re saying…

On May 15th the CW held its annual upfront and Arrow was of course involved in the show with it going into its 3rd season this coming year, With Katie being there for it. She did the red carpet, the show and the after party. We got a cute photo of Katie with her past Supernatural cast mates Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles and some fun ones with her Arrow cast Colton Haynes and Emily Bett Rickards. On April 22nd Katie was one of the presenters for the 18th Annual PRISM Awards in Los Angeles, California. The Prism Awards are to recognize writers, producers, directors, musicians, actors and actresses for their authentic storytelling of mental illness and substance us. “Before flying here I watched episodes 14 and 15. There’s a scene between Katie Cassidy and I in episode 14 that I’m incredibly proud of and as a whole… the episode 15 is called “The Promise”… and as a whole I was just blown away by that episode. I actually bought wi-fi on the plane yesterday so that I could be in email with the producers and the director just to say I’m very proud to be a part of this. Our 15th episode is by far our best episode of the series.”

Great news, The CW has picked up Arrow from a season three. Congreats to Kaite, the cast and the people who make the show for us all.
The CW has renewed freshman dramas The Originals and Reign and is is also bringing back established hits Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries and Arrow for tenth, sixth and third seasons, respectively.
