The first poster for the new season of Arrow is out now, I have to say its a step up from last years poster when she was put in the back, This time she is right by Oliver. I can see this year being a big one for Laurel and Katie.

Arrow season two is not out till next monday in the UK but it is out tomorrow in the US and the Gag Reel is now out online for people to see. As soon as my blu-ray copy comes I will add all the bonus features and work on all the missing season two caps.
Katie Cassidy talks about playing a woman with Dissociative Personality Disorder and the trouble with lip piercings.
It was nearly two years ago that I visited the set of The Scribbler at Linda Vista Hospital in Los Angeles. Katie Cassidy was just about to begin filming “Arrow” after shooting the pilot. That’s how long it takes with indie films, and XLrator Media is releasing The Scribbler in theaters, VOD and iTunes on September 19. Based on the Dan Schaffer graphic novel, The Scribbler stars Cassidy as Suki, a woman with multiple personalities being interrogated about deaths at the halfway house in which she now lives. Suki’s story reveals a process known as the Siamese Burn which attempts to remove her alters, and one alter who uses Suki’s body to scribble messages backwards all over the wall. On the set, Cassidy was dressed in a skeleton costume which she wears for the second half of the movie, and took her lip ring out in between takes.
CraveOnline: I was wondering if you would have the lip piercing from the comic book, and you do. So you take it in and out in between takes?
Katie Cassidy: I do, because if you’ll notice, I started to get a little scab.Are you tempted to fiddle with it?
Yeah, it’s actually become a habit, I think as a character and then me also in general. Off set, I’ll look for it and it’s not there.Did you go after this film?
I did.How did you hear about The Scribbler and how did you fight for it?
I read the script and fell in love with it, the character. I’d been looking to play a character like this for a while, so I called my agents, had a meeting with the director and producers. Prior to going to the meeting, prepping for it I obviously read up about Dissociative Identity Disorder and came in with my ideas and thoughts specifically on different scenes, on this character, on what I thought the character should look like, what I would do, actually sat down with somebody who had a multiple personality and just observe and learn as much as I possibly can. They were obviously impressed with my presentation on it and I got the offer.

A new promo for Arrow season three is now out and Laurel is kicking ass.
It’s the start of a new week and sometimes the only way to beat the “back-to-work” blues is to put your party pants on. Champagne also works, but we figured these Artelier Nicole Miller beaded guys would be the more practical solution given the circumstances. It is only Monday, after all.

We’ll be straight with you—save for her treacherous turn on Gossip Girl (before you judge us, we place the blame squarely on Netflix), we didn’t quite have actress Katie Cassidy pinned as the buying-out-Bergdorfs type. Fast forward one chance encounter in Vancouver later (hello, Hollywood North? It’s totally a thing, guys. Did you learn nothing from Twilight?), which quickly evolved into a weekend-long hangout of grand proportions, and, well, let’s just say our perceptions have done a 180. Those baby pink Alexander Wang wedges? A Givenchy rottweiler tote? Thigh-high (and then some) Tom Ford boots? Check, check, and check—and all inside Cassidy’s closet. See what we mean? With every piece that made its way out of Cassidy’s travel wardrobe and onto her person during our playdates, we increasingly began to sense a theme: girl knows how to throw down when it comes to sample sales and plunking down the plastic. Then again, she does double as a personal style blogger, so we guess we should have seen the whole thing coming.
