Stephen love’s to do his live Facebook fan videos, And one fan asked him about Black Canary and if she was coming back at all, And this is what he said on the matter.

When asked if Black Canary would be returning to the show, Amell demurred, saying, “The idea of Black Canary and what it means and what it embodies in Star City is something we’re gonna explore this year.”

So take that as it is, we may not have seen the last of the Black Canary in Arrow but I think we have seen the last of Laurel as her.

although the Black Canary may be gone on Arrow (Still not over it), it seems her legacy on the show will carry on and this will include a new permanent fixture in Star City, A tease on twitter from Arrow showrunner Marc Guggenheim show’s a new Black Canary memorial statue will be erected in Season 5 by Oliver Queen. The one that was post on Twitter said “Option 5” so it may not be the final design we see on the show.

So Katie was going to be at the ArcCon this weekend in Brussels but had to pull out at the last minute for work reasons, And in there post about it the people at ArcCon were told that Katie was going to in a new movie and that’s why she could not make it, There is no news on whether this is true or not, But here is hoping it is.

We are very sorry to inform you that we just received answers from Katie’s agent and they confirmed Katie has work commitments in USA (a new movie!) and she is not available to come to Brussels.

Hey I just want to say that I will be going away from tomorrow (15th) to Monday (20th). I will be heading to a Buffy Conventions and in this time I will not have my laptop with me so please if you do email me I will not be getting back to you till monday. Another weekend, another convention for Katie. This time its Super Heroes Con II, in Paris, and she did her first appearance at the convention today! Katie arrived late to the convention but in style as first thing she did was crash Teddy Sears and Shantel VanSanten panel with Arrow co-star Emily Bett Rickards! Up next were Photo OP’s and Katie’s panel with (sniff, oh Tommy) Colin Donnell! Candids from the day are now up in the gallery, as information from the panel bellow and couple of videos from today. -Katie said “I knew when I put on the black jacket that was when I was becoming the Black Canary finally – I cried!”
-It was showrunner’s not actors’ decision for Tommy to quit show, and for Laurel too.
-Villain Hero or lawyer? Katie answered “Tie between Black Canary and Black Siren, lawyer was hard jargon!”
-Katie said Paul Blackthorne surprised her being so upset when found out Laurel was in grave!
-Katie said she cannot say anything about her new movie and that she hasn’t seen it yet but she heard from the pre-screening that it was scary.
-She also said she couldn’t say which video game she was working for, she said it was something as badass as Lara Croft.
-She talked about shooting Monte Carlo and how close she was to Leighton. And that she felt like a big sister to Selena because when they met Selena was starting to date Justin Bieber and she needed advice on what to do or not and they used to do slumber parties.
-She talked about Supernatural how it was her first regular role and how Jared and Jensen were always joking around.
-She said that it was really challenging to play Suki and that her psychologist even made her meet a person with multiple personalities disorder in order to understand more what her character would be like.

One of the saddest television departures of the season was the heartbreaking murder of Laurel Lance aka Black Canary at the hands of the dastardly Damien Darhk on Arrow. While fans bemoaned the character’s death, the CW superhero universe has been known to bring a number of beloved cast members back from the dead in the past (the Lazarus Pit! Time travel!), so is there a chance that Katie Cassidy’s Laurel Lance could once again pop up on The CW?

Her on-screen sister Caity Lotz believes so!

Lotz, who’s now kicking butt and taking names as Sara Lance on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, told People’s Choice at the CW Upfronts last month that she doesn’t think we’ve seen the last of her TV sibling, and pointed to the character’s Earth-2 cameo on The Flash as proof.

A new weekend and new convention for Katie, This time she is at the Dallas Fan Expo and she did her first day yesterday with fan autos, photoshoot and a panel. Candids from the day are now up in the gallery

-Katie would LOVE to be a reg on The Flash was either character now that Flash’s timeline has changed
-Katie says “Stay tuned” very devilishly about future crossovers.
-Katie thought the grave was a dream sequence and no one would die
-Katie said the scenes with her and Caity mean the most to her.

So Katie is at this time in Orlando for Mega Con with her former Arrow star John Barrowman. So far Katie has been there for two of the three day’s she is down for tomorrow being her last. So far she has done photoshoots and autos on both the day’s but so far no panel maybe tomorrow?.

Each season, a singular style emerges from collections and tickles our fancy until it wants to cry “Uncle.” Despite the fact that it is the red-headed stepchild of our sartorial year, summer is no exception. (Seriously, find us someone who actually likes summer fashion.)

Enter the jumpsuit…again.

The reality is, we’ve always been fans of a good jumpsuit number – remember Spring ’15? But usually the onset of our adult onesie obsession coincides with a season known for wanting to maximize coverage, not avoid it. So we must admit that we originally found it a tid bit shocking how our summer sights set firmly on a garment so sophisticated and, well, full of fabric.

But ultimately, it was the practicality of wearing said suit over swimwear in order to transition effortlessly from the pool to dinner that won us over. When you think about it that way, it’s not so shocking after all. We are nothing if not efficient.

The rest is history.
