Juliana Harkavy On Season 6: There’s a Lot of ‘Bad Blood’ Between Black Canary and Black Siren

Well there was no Katie on this week’s episode of Arrow and I’m guessing we will not see her till episode 4 now, But good news is Katie is now back in Vancouver filming I would say episode 9 or the crossover maybe. Variety got to sit down with Juliana and talk about what is going to happen with Black Siren in the coming weeks.

There were some great scenes between Black Canary and Black Siren in the premiere. How does that rivalry play out in the episodes to come?
It definitely doesn’t die down. There is a lot of bad blood between Siren and Canary. It’s fun to watch those fights – they’re very charged because of the history of where they came from and what they’ve been through. People who like those fights can definitely come to expect more of them, and they’ll get bigger and better.

After months of asking the question of who survived the island, Arrow was at last back yesterday night for it’s season six premier with the answers and far more questions like was Black Siren dead after the gun shot and if so what did that man do to her and who is that man I hope we get to no soon. But how bad ass is Black Siren right people she keeps kicking Dinah’s ass all over the episode as she should, Katie plays her so well and we all known how well she plays the bad girls. She’s certainly going to be a thorn in Team Arrow’s side when the show returns, but Stephen Amell brings up a really fascinating idea that the show may explore down the line. “She looks exactly like Laurel Lance, she is Laurel Lance,” Amell says. “Laurel Lance is the most famous dead person in Star City, so eventually, at some point, if she is reintroduced into public life, how do we unpack that? I’m excited for that. That’s the dynamic I think could be interesting.”

Pronovias Fashion Show

Last weekend Katie three of her closest friends were in New York City to attend the parade fashion show, were she was one of the guests of honor of the event. Katie was there to watch the show and chose her wedding dress (we don’t known what one she picked in the end) and from what she said on facebook her wedding should be in June, July or August next year and some were hot. Megacon 2017

Two weeks ago Katie made a new convention this time for MegaCon Tampa Bay. As with all her cons she did photoshoots and autos with the fans on both day’s and had a solo panel on Sunday. Photos from both days are now up in the gallery and sorry they took so long was having some behind the scenes problems with the site.

– “I can’t take David Ramsay down. I don’t think anyone can. His arm is the size of my body,” Katie Cassidy pointed out when discussing her intense daily workout routine that includes boxing. She demonstrated some of her moves on Moisés Chiullán who presided over almost every single panel.
– Apart from her acting, Cassidy also has a lifestyle brand, Tomboy KC. She wants to expand it into clothing, including men’s clothing.
– “Sharknado? Sure,” she said, agreeing to the possibility of being in it. “What’s that?”, The Audience and Chiullán fills her in on the successful Syfy film series. “So, there’s a tornado of sharks? Can I be a shark?”. After finding out that wouldn’t be an option, Cassidy changed her answer to, “Then no, I don’t want to die.”
– Cassidy is open to being on America’s Ninja Warrior, “Sure”.
– She was also asked about Supernatural.
“When they killed me off…all these people love killing me off, the contract I signed, I could still be on the show if they hadn’t done that,” Cassidy said before later adding since deaths don’t always mean an end to that character, “And we all film in Vancouver…”
– However, most of the audience wanted to know about Arrow and what might happen for her character. One questioner laid out how Black Siren could be redeemed.
“I really hope they decide to do this…there is a chance of redemption for her…I think that it would be interesting and really hard but a lot of fun at the same time.”
– There were some questions she had to refuse. DC or Marvel? “I’d lose my job!”
– Arrow or The Flash? “I love my job!”

Arrow Season Two Blu-Ray Caps Part 1

As I said over the weekend I have been working on the first part of replacing our previous HD caps of Katie from season two of Arrow with 1080p Blu-ray screen captures and with that in mind I have done the first 8 episodes Katie was in 2×01 – City of Heroes, 2×02 – Identity, 2×03 – Broken Dolls, 2×04 – Crucible, 2×05 – League of Assassins, The episode we were missing 2×07 – State v. Queen, 2×09 – Three Ghosts and 2×10 – Blast Radius. I forgot how good Katie was in the first part of this season you can see why she won her Prism Award for her acting. Part two should be up some time next month I would say so look out for that.
