Caity Lotz returning to Arrow for Birds of Prey-inspired episode

Written by owner on February 24 2019

EW – Arrow‘s original canary is coming home (at least for an episode).

EW has confirmed that Legends of Tomorrow star Caity Lotz — who originally played Sara Lance/Black Canary on the show before becoming Legends‘ White Canary — will appear in season 7’s 18th episode “Lost Canary.” As of right now, it’s unclear how involved Lotz will be in the episode; however, TVLine reports that the hour is inspired by the Birds of Prey, DC Comics’ female vigilante team, and will also involve Black Siren/Earth-2 Laurel (Katie Cassidy Rodgers). (It’s worth noting that this should not be confused with the Arrow season 2 episode “Birds of Prey.”)

Cassidy Rodgers shared a behind scenes photo Thursday featuring herself, Lotz, and a masked Juliana Harkavy, who plays Dinah Drake/the current Black Canary. “Girls rule #round2,” she captioned the team-up photo.

Obviously, this won’t be Lotz’s first appearance on Arrow this year. She made a very brief cameo in the superhero drama’s documentary-like 150th episode. Before that, she appeared in the season 6 finale, which saw Sara meet her sister’s Earth-2 doppelgänger when she returned to see her father Quentin (Paul Blackthorne) before he died.

Katie was not in the last episode of Arrow despite her getting a note in the previous episode they said she was at a convention for the weekend so why make her a part of the storyline only to cut her out of it? Written by owner on February 24 2019

Over the last year I have been working on getting all the Arrow season two blu-ray 1080p screen captures done for the site and I had done some but only the first 13 episodes, but I at last got roung to doing the rest that is doing the missing episodes we had and replacing all the HQ caps with the full 1080p ones and at long long long last I have got it all done. The missing 5 episodes we had were 2×14 – Time of Death, 2×16 – Suicide Squad, 2×17 – Birds Of Prey, 2×18 – Deathstroke and 2×19 – The Man Under The Hood all the others were done when they were on TV. As I said this did take some time to do but I am now starting on doing season three so here is hoping it dose not take me a year to do the next one but the first set of re-caps should be up next weekend. Till then head over to the gallery to look at all of Katie’s arrow season two caps.

Arrow “7×11 – Past Sins” HD Screen Captures

Well after being of Arrow for far to long Katie was back on last night’s all new episode 7×11 – Past Sins and had a Big part to play in it as well, All of Katie’s parts were great but the part when she talk’s about her dad had to be one of my favorite scenes from season 7 so far from Katie, Seeing Laurel open up about her past was heartbreaking and her friendship with Felicity in the episode was a great thing to watch and both Katie and emily play of each other so well. Over 400 HD screen captures from the episode are now up in the gallery no clue on if Katie will be in next week’s or not she is not in the promo or stills but as its the 150th episode I can see her being there some how.

Arrow: ‘Birds of Prey’-Inspired Episode to Feature Laurel — and Who Else?

Written by owner on January 19 2019

AT LAST IT’S HAPPENING not only will we at last get to see Laurel’s backstory but get to find out if her redemption arc is real or not and on top of that she will play a big part in a Birds Of Prey episode.

Tvline – The back half of Arrow Season 7 has plans for ADA Laurel Lance above and beyond her giving Oliver side-eye during his TV news program appearances.

As Arrow showrunner Beth Schwartz revealed as part of TVLine’s in-depth midseason preview Q&A, “We are doing a Birds of Prey-inspired episode, that Laurel (played by Katie Cassidy) will be involved with.”

The famously spoiler-averse Schwartz left the tease at that, other than to invite viewers to speculate as to who might join Laurel on that team-up. (In the comic books, the actual Birds of Prey is typically comprised of Black Canary and Oracle/Barbara Gordon, plus a rotation of other female superheroes. The short-lived 2002-2003 TV series featured Oracle, Dinah Lance and Huntress.)

In addition to the above — as well as an episode that will shed light on this Laurel’s Earth-Two backstory — Schwartz said, “We’ll get to see what happens in her overall redemption arc — whether she really did turn over a new leaf, or is she still the same evil Black Siren we met last season.”

Arrow “My Name Is Emiko Queen” Extended Promo

Written by owner on January 19 2019

A new extended promo for the next two episodes of Arrow has been released by the CW and Katie has two little parts in it, the first one you see all over the clip and thats her with Oliver talking but there is a little one at 0.36 mark of her kicking someone’s ass. But as I said this is for the next two episodes of Arrow so I don’t no if Katie will be in this coming Monday’s episode of not but we do no she will be in the one after that.
