Selena Gomez Hung Out With Girls On Monte Carlo Set

Written by owner on December 19 2010

Selena Gomez likes boys as much as the next young starlet, but even she sometimes just needs her girl time. She recently told Latina all about her set adventures with her female pals. Here is what she had to say.

“Leighton and Katie [Cassidy] and me spent every scene together. We’d have dinner together and we would talk and we’d go out and it was always us three girls. There were romantic aspects for each of our characters and we had a lot of guys that were on the set, and at our hotel, but we never hung out with them. [Laughs]. We just hung out with each other”

Sounds like the Monte Carlo set was very divided! I am glad that Selena made time for some girl talk and just to be girly. She needed some slacking off time, after working so hard all the time. I cannot wait to see more from this movie! It’s going to be a good one, I really feel that it is. What do you guys think and how do you feel about what Selena said?

MPAA Ratings: ‘Monte Carlo’

Written by owner on October 27 2010

Romantic comedy Monte Carlo earned a PG rating for “brief mild language.” The movie stars Selena Gomez, Katie Cassidy and Leighton Meester as a group of girls on vacation in Paris who, thanks to a case of mistaken identities, end up traveling to Monte Carlo. The movie currently shares its Feb. 11 debut with Drive Angry, Just Go With It, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never and Gnomeo and Juliet.

I hope to god that they move this movie back a week or the Justin one is going to kill it big time unless by the time it comes out the world has at last got over him well i can hope. (sorry to any Bieber fans on here)

Selena Gomez Was Nervous Meeting Leighton Meester & Katie Cassidy

Written by owner on October 07 2010

Selena Gomez admits she had nerves on her first day of work shooting her latest movie Monte Carlo.

The A Year Without Rain singer filmed the movie earlier this year in Budapest, Hungary and Paris, France, alongside Leighton Meester (aged 24) and Katie Cassidy (23).

And the 18-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place actress reveals she was scared to work with her co-stars at first because they are older.

“I was extremely nervous when I started,” says Sel, who says her fans are amazing. “They’re older and have experienced other things and I thought they would think ‘She’s just a kid’,” added Gomez.

“But when I met them they couldn’t have been the nicest group of girls.”

Selena, who wants a Glee cameo, also revealed that they’re still friends even after filming has wrapped-up. She added: “I feel I can call them with any problem and they’re like my big sisters.”
