Katie has been keeping a low profile with events this year compared to past years but this week she was in the Netherlands for the Dutch Comic Con 2018 that is taking place for it’s last day right now, Katie has been there both day’s and photos from the event are stating to hit the web right now, With Katie doing photoshoots, autos and her panel yesterday and again photoshoots and autos today (don’t no about a second panel today yet) photos from both days are now up in the gallery with more to come.

Earlier today Katie was the the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in Atlanta to meet fan’s for photos and autos and she did do some of the day there unfortunately Katie got some heartbreaking news about her dad David Cassidy who is now suffering from multiple organ failure so she had to leave the convention. My thoughts and prayers are with both her and her family in this time and for now there privacy should be respected.

Edit: Katie did come back to the convention for day two the HVFF but left before her panel was to take place with Caity.

Meeting you all means the world to her, so for now @MzKatieCassidy WILL be at #HVFF today.

We hope you’ll help us make today an incredible, positive experience for her, and all our guests!

(We only say for now because should she need to leave early, etc we would absolutely understand. Though for now, her schedule is unchanged).

Two weeks ago Katie made a new convention this time for MegaCon Tampa Bay. As with all her cons she did photoshoots and autos with the fans on both day’s and had a solo panel on Sunday. Photos from both days are now up in the gallery and sorry they took so long was having some behind the scenes problems with the site.

– “I can’t take David Ramsay down. I don’t think anyone can. His arm is the size of my body,” Katie Cassidy pointed out when discussing her intense daily workout routine that includes boxing. She demonstrated some of her moves on Moisés Chiullán who presided over almost every single panel.
– Apart from her acting, Cassidy also has a lifestyle brand, Tomboy KC. She wants to expand it into clothing, including men’s clothing.
– “Sharknado? Sure,” she said, agreeing to the possibility of being in it. “What’s that?”, The Audience and Chiullán fills her in on the successful Syfy film series. “So, there’s a tornado of sharks? Can I be a shark?”. After finding out that wouldn’t be an option, Cassidy changed her answer to, “Then no, I don’t want to die.”
– Cassidy is open to being on America’s Ninja Warrior, “Sure”.
– She was also asked about Supernatural.
“When they killed me off…all these people love killing me off, the contract I signed, I could still be on the show if they hadn’t done that,” Cassidy said before later adding since deaths don’t always mean an end to that character, “And we all film in Vancouver…”
– However, most of the audience wanted to know about Arrow and what might happen for her character. One questioner laid out how Black Siren could be redeemed.
“I really hope they decide to do this…there is a chance of redemption for her…I think that it would be interesting and really hard but a lot of fun at the same time.”
– There were some questions she had to refuse. DC or Marvel? “I’d lose my job!”
– Arrow or The Flash? “I love my job!”

Two weekends ago (September 02nd – 3rd) Katie made a stop at the 2017 Dragon Con were she made two day’s of the convention despite being ill on the Saturday. On the Saturday she took part in photoshoots with the fans, autos and when to The Flash panel. On the Sunday again she did some photoshoot and autos and when to the Arrow panel. Photos from both day’s are up in the gallery right now.

# katie says it’s a challenge to switch from hero to villain, but she loves it. Danielle Panabaker agrees.
# Katie’s dad played mirror master on the original The Flash. They’re all just discovering this.
# Katie was super sick & still showed up to The Flash panel like a pro.
# The Flash cast wants her back on the show ASAP
# Both katie & Danielle say it can get confusing playing all diff versions of chars, but Tom makes it easy differentiate.
# katie’s favorite scene is when Laurel reveals that she’s black canary to Cisco. Said it was such a sweet scene.
# katie asked Guggenheim if there’s a chance Black Siren could meet Earth 1 Laurel & he said “interesting…we’ll talk later.”
# All the cast (and Katie) love season one of The Flash the best.
# Katie says producers asked her at the beginning if she was prepared to be on the show (didn’t say in what capacity) for 10-12 yrs.
# Katie, Michelle, & Rick all agree their death scenes were hardest. Katie hated they kept replaying it. “We get it. I’m dead. You killed me.”
